CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97-711
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 14 AND FINAL
WEST MEDICINE LAKE PARK IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1
CITY PROJECT NO. 3030
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and J & K Grading and Trucking, as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for West Medicine Lake Park - Phase I, City Project No. 3030,
said agreement being dated October 30,1995; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $996,005.90. Seven change orders were
approved in the amount of 5576,892.00 and the value of the work to date is
51,570,860.55 and is herewith approved. This project underran the revised
contract amount by $2,037.35 or 0.1%.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for West Medicine Lale Park
Improvements - Phase I and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the engineer as acceptable
from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and
all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work
after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 14 and Final in the amount of $78,546.03 to J & K
Grading and Trucking for West Medicine Lake Park Improvements - Phase 16
hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
