CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 694
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
PART OF DUNKIRK LANE AND OLD COUNTY ROAD 24 RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of Dunkirk Lane and Old County Road 24
Right -of -Way,; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, a public herring with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November S, 1997
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to
the meeting of November S. 1997; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 5, 1997 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of part of Plinkirk Lane and Old County Road 24
Right -of -Way, and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUn1CIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following part of Dunkirk Lane and Old County
Road 24 Right -6 -Way, be vacated:
That part of Old County Road No. 24 and Dunkirk Lane lying within the
Northeast. Quartcr of the Northwest Quarter and the Northwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter and within Outlot D, Dunkirk Meadows, all in Section 20,
Township l 18, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies easterly of the

most eastexly right of way line of County State Aid Highway No. 24 as platted in
Hennepin County Highway Plat No. 4, and southwwerly of State Highway No.
SS as platted in said Dunkirk Meadows.
Adopted by the City Council on November S, 1997.
