HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-658• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 97 -658 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR REZONING OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF HIGHWAY 55 AND DUNKIRK LANE (97011) WHEREAS,1'own and Country Homes, Inc. has requested reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to RMF -1 (Multiple Family 1) for property legally described 3s follows: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 118, Range 22 lying south of a line drawn from a point on the east line thereof distant 659 feet south of the northeast corner thereof to a point on the west line thereof distant 651.7 feet south of the northwest corer therof. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from FRD to RMF -1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Town and Country Homes, Inc:. for reclassification of the zoning ftrom FRD to RMF -1, based on the following fundings: 1. The rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans. 2. The proposed development meets the RMF -1 zoning district regulations. 3. There is adequate infrastructure to support the proposed development and rezoning of the parcel.
