RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 647
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
COUNTY ROAD 6 SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION
RANIER LANE TO URBANDALE LANE
CITY PROJECT NO. 7018
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-550 of the City Council adopted the 17° day of September,
1997, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the extension of sanitary sewer to serve
parcels adjacent to County Road 6 and south of Mooney Lake; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project itt aludes the construction of new sanitary sewer and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-550 of the City Council adopted the it day of September,
1997, also accepted the preliminary engineering report which concluded that the proposed project
is feasible, necessary and cost effective; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the
required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 15' day of October, 1997, at
which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and
WHEREAS, ordering this improvement requires a mgjority vote of the Council (four votes) since
the project has been petitioned for by the benefiting owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted September 17,1997.

3. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.
