CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 97-643
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY FUNDS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SPECIALIZED SQUAD CAR SEATS
WHEREAS, officers of the Plymouth Police Department researched and
developed information on specialized squad car seats with ergonomic value; and
WHEREAS, the seats are currently in use by the Minnesota State Patrol and
several other police departments who have found them valuable; and
WHEREAS, the cost for purchase and installation of the seats in the IS marked
squad cars and two CSO vehicles would be a total of $17,086; and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are currently available in Contingency Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the expenditure of $17,086 in General Fund
Contingency funds for the purchase of specialized squad car seats is authorized.
Adopted by the City Council on October 15, 1997.
