CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 605
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
MEDICINE LAKE BOULEVARD EAST
CITY PROJECT NO. 7006
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has undertaken City Project No. 7006; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements, a certain permanent easement is required; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper, and expedient in the interests of the public
health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire
said easement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the construction schedule for said public project makes it
necessary to acquire title to and possession of the easement interests prior to the filing of the final
report of the condemnation commissioners to m appointed by the district court; and
WHEREAS, the use of jyiM. Ste. Sec. 117.042 (1988), so-called "Quick -Take" statute, will enable
the City to timely acquire the required easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence
condemnation proceedings utilizing said "Quick -Take" statute for City Project No. 7006 for the
following described eaeement within the following described parcel:
That part of Tract C lying north of the south line of Tract B extended west to Medicine Lake,
Registered Land Survey No. 606, files of Registrar of Titles, County of Hennepin, Minnesota.

A perpetual easement for street, drainage, utility and trail purposes over the above described
