HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-575• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 97-375 APPROVING FENCE HEIGHT VARIANCE FOR GREG AND ELIZABETH HENDRICKS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 11510 -5r AVENUE NORTH (97120) WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Greg and Elizabeth Hendricks to request approval of a variance to allow construction of a 6 -foot high wood fence in the front yard area, where the maximum fence height allowed is 3 feet, for property legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1, Asplund's Oakwood Shores WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval of the Variance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approved the request by Greg and Elizabeth Hendricks for a fence height variance for property located at 1 IS 10-5?? Avenue North, subject to the following conditions: 1. The fencing is needed in order to provide adequate screening to protect the use and egjoyment of the property. 2. The proposed fence would not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to other properties, nor would It impair an adequate supply of light and air to adjacent property. 3. A fence permit shall be obtained prior to construction of the fence. 4. The fence shall be maintained in a good state of repair at all times. Adopted by the City Council on October 1, 1997.
