RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE AKESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
Peony Lane from State Highway 55 to north of the Wayzata Senior High School
Site.
by the installation of a bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, a railroad
crossing bridge, 8 foot wide bituminous trails, water lateral and trunk facilities and all
necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $4,801,442 and the
expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $756,709 so
the total cost of the improvement will be $5,558,151 and of this cost the City will pay
$4,260,490.30 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. It is determined that the following charges for trunk water main, pumping and
storage facilities for the above project shall be applied to the existing land use
zoning
Residential $1,580 per acre
Commercial/Industrial $2.370 per acre
2. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$725,086.08.
3. Th' City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every
accessible lot, piece or parcel or land within the district affected, without regard to
cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in the office for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the City
Council thereof.
