RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 525
AWARDING BID
TOWN CENTEIUMANN THEATER IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, pure aur to an advertisement for bids for tate construction of Town Center
ents
Theater Improvemand all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Northdale Construction, Inc. $182,251.60 $1819565.88
WHEREAS, it. appears that Metro Utilities, Inc. of Plymouth, Minn. is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract
with Metro Utilities, Inc. of Plymouth, Minn. in the name of the City of Plymouth for
Town Center/Mann Theater according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by
the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of $148,782.00
(alternate bid).
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council on September 10, 1997.
