HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-522C] CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 97-522 ADOPTING PROPOSED 1998 BUDGETS WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared preliminary proposed 1998 budgets for fiscal year commencing January 1, 1998 based upon the requirements of the State Tax Law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the preliminary 1998 proposed operating budgets for the following funds are hereby preliminary approved: General Fund Budget $15,618,766 Recreation Fund Budget 933,198 Transit Fund Budget 3,049,950 Facilities Management Budget 6629123 Water Fund Budget 3,406,905 Sewer Fund Budget 51490,564 Solid Waste Fund Budget 691,500 Water Resources Budget 2659800 Central Equipment Fund Budget 11638,700 Risk Management Budget 659,651 Design Engineering Fund Budget 262,091 Employee Benefits Fund Budget 1,338,000 Information Technology Services Budget 1,154,334 Ice Arena Budget 570,200 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, (1) that the City Council concurs on the 1998 Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority budgets in the amount of $1,966,933 (ii) that this proposed operating budget resolution and the accompanying proposed tax levies contained in Resolution No. 97.521 aro being submitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, and other applicable law in effect on this date, (iii) that the applicable law, and (iv) that the City Council declares its intent to take all necessary actions legally permissible to the submission and approval of the City's budget and tax levies both proposed and final.
