RESOLUTION NO. 97-513
ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS
1997 UNPAID ANNUAL STREET LIGHTING FOR UNIMPROVED PARCELS AND UNPAID
ANNUAL RECYCLING FEES
WHEREAS, wm ant to popes notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and hand and
passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for 1997 Unpaid Annual Street Lighting for
Unimproved Parcels ad Unpaid Arm=] Recycling Fees as provided by the City Ordinances and has
amended such proposed assessment as it deems just:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed Luessmerit, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof, is heteby
accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named therein and each tract of
land herein included is hereby bound to be identified by the amount of the assessincut levied against
it.
2. Such assewmeras shall be payable over a period of one year.
3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director by October 3, 1997
without additional charge. After October 3, 1997 daily interest charge based on an annual rate of
8.WY• starting on September 4,1997 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a
payment can be accepted by the City o° Plymouth is No%vmber 26, 1997. After chef date interest
shall be added from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1998 and payment can only est:
made to Henrupin County with the 1998 property taxes.
4. The clerk shill forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the Cotuuy Finance
Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county and such assessments shall be xllected
and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes.
S. The total cost of the 1997 Unpaid Annual Street Lighting for Unimproved Parcels and Unpaid
Annual Recycling Fees assessed by this resolution are 5466.17.
Adopted by the City Council an September 3, 1997.
