RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
EAST MEDICINE LAKE BOULEVARD
STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND REGIONAL TRAIL
CITY PROJECT NO. 7006
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of East Medicine Lake
Boulevard Street ImprovemaRts and Regional Trail, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were
received, opened and tabu'ated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:
Hardrives, Inc. $1,684,591.21
C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. 116959967.10
WHEREAS, it appears that Herdrives, Inc. of Plymouth, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with
Hardrives, Inc. of Plymouth, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of
East Medicine Lake Boulevard Street Improvements and Regional Trail according to the
plans and specifications •%erefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Clerk in the amount of 51,684,591.21.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfid bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. The City shall not enter into the contract until it has been approved by Hennepin Parrs.
