CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 97-466
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SHENANDOAH LANE
AND 22ND AVENUE (97047)
WHEREAS. Peter Andrea Company has requested a PUD (Plan.ted Unit Development) General
Plan Amendment for property legally described as Outlot B. Parkers Lake North P Addition.
and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Long Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD General Plan
Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for
the affected parcel.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request
by Peter Andrea Company for a PUD General Plan Amendment and related Zoning Ordinance
text amendment, based on the following findings:
1. The Amendment is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and
plans.
2. There is adequate iniiastructure to support the amendment of the parcel.
3. The Amendment is consistent with the intent of the Parkers Lake PUD.
