HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-453r] CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 974S3 CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DELINQUENT WATER SEWER, RECYCLING AND STREET 110H'IING SERVICE CHARGES, UNPAID ANNUAL STREET LIGHTING FOR UNIMPROVED PARCELS AND UNPAID ANNUAL RECYCLING FEES WHEREAS, by a resolution pried by the Council on August 6. 19971, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for tle del*uent water, sewer, recycling and street light ran =%rice cher ser, unpaid annual street lighting for unimproved parcels and aanpaid annual recycling far as provided by law; ad WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A public hearing shall be held on the 3rd day of September, 1997 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and pine Al persons owning property affected by such charges will be given an oppornurity to be heard with teference to such assessment 2. The City Cleric is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of tlu assessment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each petal described in the assessment roll. Adopted by the City Council on August 6,1997.
