RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 415
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
TOWN CENTER/MANN THEATER
STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 7011
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-336 of the City Council adopted the 4th day of June,
19979 fixed a date fora public hearing with respect to construction of a regional water
quality basin west of the intersection of TrwAi Highway 55 and Plymouth Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements include grading and storm sewer work
necessary to construct a regional water quality basin; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-336 of the City Council adopted the 4th day of June,
1997, also accepted the preliminary engineering report which concluded that the proposed
project is feasible, necessary and cost effective; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 9th day of July, 1997,
at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard
thereon; and
WHEREAS, ordering this improvement requires a 4/5 vote of the Council (six votes)
since the project has not been petitioned for by the benefiting owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted lune 4, 1997.
2. Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare pians and specifications for the making
of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council on July 9,1997.
