REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 13 AND FINAL
NORTHWEST BOULEVARD/SCHMIVr LAKE ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 0011
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Shafer Contracting Co., as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for Northwest BoulevardISchmidt Lake Road, City
Project No. 0011, said agreement being dated August 11,1992; and
WHEREAS, the E:nginteer has certified his acceptance of the work aced his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was 51,68031.05. The value of the
work to date is $1,541,839.03 and is herewith approved. This project
u-Wemm the contract amount by 5142,692.47 or 8.5Vc
2. Tlhat the work performed by the contractor for Northwest
Boulevard/Schmidt Lake Road and certified to the Council by the engineer
as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the engineer es
acceptable from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance
bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and
correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 13 and Final in the amount of $77,978.77 to
Shafer Contracting Co. for Northwest Boulevard/Schmidt Lake Road is
hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on July 9.1997.
