RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 367
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEN EERr FOR BIDS
VICKSBURG LANE STREET' RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7010
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 4, 1997 the City
Ehas prepared plans and specifications for improvements to Vkksbur8 Lane
from Gleason Labe Road to Hlghway SS by the installatiov of bituminous povemem
concrete curb and gutter, s;arm sewer and all necessary appurtsnances. and has
presented such plant and spu fiatiow to the Council for alproval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, odes of which arc on file in the City
ErRineer'a office and made a pat hereof, are bereby approved.
2. T,re City Cleric shall prepare and cause to be Wafted In the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specWmdons. The advertent shall be published twice, shall specify
the wort to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City
Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on July 10, 1997 at which time they will be
publicly opened. No bids will be considered unhu sealed and filed with
the City Clerk and accompanied by a cub deposit, cashier's check, bid
bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
