DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
HOLLY CREEK 5f° ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the developer requesting installation of
n r me al residential street lighting in the Holly Creels 5• Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE R HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCJL OF
THE C1TY OF PLYMOUTH, KWNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Holly Creels 51 Addition by the
installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on
June 18, 1997 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners
of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota
Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 10096 of the affected property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed igrovement is feasible and as to whether it should
best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of We improvement as recommended.
