HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-362• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 362 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE WEST MEDICINE LAKE PARK RECONSTRUCTION CITY PROJECT NO. 3030 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, as part of an Lake easement agreement, the City of Plymouth has agreed to vacate a portion of West Medicine Drive (formally known as Lake Drive as platted in Elmhurst Gateway V Addition) described as follows: Commencing at the northeast comer of Lot 22, Block 1, ELMHURST GATEWAY 2"D ADDITION; thence sDutWY along the easterly line of said Lot 229 a distance of 12 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence continue southerly along easterly line of said Lot 22, to the southeast comer of said Lot 22; thence easterly along the easterly extension of the southerly line of said Lot 22 a distance of 11 feet; thence deflect to the left in a northerly direction to the actual point of beginning and there terminating. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the request and found the same to be in order, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 23, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Buulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative st ff to publish notice of said heating as provided by law.
