HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-349• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 97- 349 APPROVING 31 MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR WEST MEDICINE LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB WHEREAS, the West Medicine Lake Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, has submitted an application for renewal of an on -We 3.2 malt liquor license; and WHEREAS, W fees have been paid; an -1 WHEREAS. due to the nature of the business, the location of the business, and verified complaints, the City Council desires to place conditions on the liquor license in order to protect the health, safety, welfare, and quietude of the neighborhood. NOW THBREI'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Plymouth approves issuance of an on -sale 3.2 percent malt liquor license for West Medicine Woe Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, for the period July 1, 1997, through June 30, 1998, with the following conditions: 1. Hours. All events shall occur between 1:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday of each week. flours for events shall be 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with the bar closing no Inter than 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Friday and Saturday evenings. All persons attending an event must be off the premises by the ending time and no setup or wardown shall occur outside the permitted hours. However, three persons are permitted to remain until 1:30 a.m. for the purposes of clean-up and tear -down activities, but noise associated with these activities shall not be audible outside the club building. 2. Amplification. There shall be no outdoor use of devices such as bullhorns. All outdoor noise shall be monitored by a decibel meter. 3. SlgnW. No additional signage, whether temporary or permanent, shall be allowed near the enhum to the Cmsnb. No balloons or other objects intended to call attention to the Club or an event at the Club strap be allowed. 4. Professional Security. Professional Security satisfactory to the Plymouth Public Safety Director shall be required at all special rental events as defined in these conditions. • S. SpaW rental etnnb. A special MOW event shall consist of any event where alcohol is served outside the building or where the total number of gueam is mon than 300 people. Notice of special rental events must be provided to the City two wales in advance of the event. 6. Calendar of 1~; . The Chub shall monthly provide the immediate neighborhood and the City with an updated calendar of club events. showing the approximate numbers of guests expected and whether or not any portion of the events wM be held outside. 7. Indoor Mote Lev&. The Club shall cause indoor Iroise levels to be monitored with an appropriate gauge. The Ctub shall cause windows facing the narest neighbors to be filled with imulatiug material to lessen the soul coming from inside the building. S. Park[ng. No event shill be larger in size than cam be accommodated by the existing off_ street parking area maintained by the Club. 9. List of OAloers and Hmploym. The Club shall provide the City with a list of offhxxs and trustees each year aha the names and phone numbers of any manager or employees of the Chub.
