RESOLUTION 97- 330
Authorising Transfer Of Funds From The Community Improvement Fund To The Elm
Creek Playfleld Construction Fund
WHEREAS, the Finance Department has determined that resolutions officially transferring
$250,000 fiom the Community Improvement Fund to the Elm Creek Playfleld Construction
Fund has not been previously approved by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, on May 159 19951 the City Council passed resolution No. 95-296 approving
amendments to the !994-98 capiol improvements program in which the staff report
summarized the Council's intent for the purchase (5250,000 in Community Improvement
Fund) of open space be postponed from 1994 to 1995, and that the funds would be used to
purchase.. the big woods portion of the ninth playReld (Elm Creek Playfield).
WHEREAS, $250,000 has actually been expended previously for land acquisition at the film
Creek Playfleld, and
WHEREAS, there is a need for an additional $75,000 to complete the Elm Creek Playfield
project in accordance with previous Council direction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CRY COUNCIL that the
Director of Finance Is authorized to transfer $250,000 Som the Con►munity Improvement
Fund and $75,000 ftm the Project Administration Fund to the Elm Creek Playfield
construction fiend.
