APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING SECTION 21005 AND 21450
OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE (DEFINITION't AND O -R ZONING DISTRICT
RESPECTIVELY) (97032)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth finds that Special' .vent and Catering Restaurants are
consistent with the purpose and intent of the O -R (Off =/Residential) zoning district and
are compatible with other prrmitred and conditional uv :s of the district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVE+) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the revisions to Section 21005 and
21450 of the City Code, as described under Ordinant :- 97-___, are necessary to:
1. Permit a reasonable opportunity for the establislanent of Special Event and Catering
Restaurants in the O -R zoning district; and
2. Ensure that Special Event and Catering Restawants are operated and located in areas
that do not adversely impact the public health cr safety; and
3. Adopt standards and regulations that promote the public health, safety, •,nd g;neral
welfare.
