CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 311
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEWEff FOR BIDS
1997 SEAL COAT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City Enginm for the
maintenance of certain stoats within the City by the installation of bituminous sal
coat, and said plans and specifications have been presented to the Council for approval;
NOW. 1 NBREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications. a copy of which is on file in the City
Engineer's office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Cleric shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advatisemeril shall be published twice, shall specify
the work to be done shall state that bids will be nxeived by the City
Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on June 20. 1997 at which time they will be
publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center
building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth. Minnesota, by the City
Engineer and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid
bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
