HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-307Cy_M_M)to) * �A 1 NI 1 RESOLUTION NO. 97-307 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO, 9"03 ESTABLISHING WATER RESTRICTION PROGRAM WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 92-303 adopted on May 18, 1992, the City Council established restrictions on the outdoor use of water from the City's water system; and WHEREAS, exceptions to the restrictions can be granted on days when the system does not have peak usage; and WHEREAS, this needs to be done on a very limited basis in order that it can be controlled. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a permit for a variance to the restrictions esmblished by Resolution No. 92-303 may be issued by the Director of Public Works if the following conditions are smdsficd: 1. The use is for new seed/sod plantad in the current growing season. 2. The area which must be watered exceeds three acres. 3. A permit cannot be issued on a day following u system usage of 1500001000 gallons or more. Any permit issued may be canceled on two hours notice based upon a high water demand placed on the City's weber system. Adopted by the City Council on May 28, 1997. ��c�.pri,�ne►wur�w.eea. �..em
