APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEhffN ' FOR BIDS
cmARRON EAST STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7002
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on May 7, 1997 the City
Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for improvemena to certain strata in
Cimarron East Addition including: Zy' Avenue, 18• Avenue from 190 Aveare to 19'
Avenue, Juneau Lane south of 190 Avenue, Junta Lane north of 190 Avemn,
Lanewood Lure north of 10 Avenue, Kingsview Lane north of 190 Avestan. Ithaca
Leve south of 19' Avenue, Ithaca Lane north of 19th Avenue, Glacier Lax south of
190 Avenue, and Harbor Lax north of 190 Avenue by the installation of bituminous
pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and
has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City
Engineer's office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify
the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City
Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on June 12, 1997 at which time they will be
publicly opened. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid
bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
