RESOLUTION NO. 97 -299
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
MUNLA ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Alan Munla requesting installation of
ornamental residential street lighting in the Munla Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Munla Addition by the installation
of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on May 28,
1997, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affxted thereby. This declaration is trade in conformance to Minnesota
Statutes Section 429.035.
2. Th. petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should
best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
