HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-298• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 97-298 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF PART OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT AND PART OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR PONDING PURPOSES LOT 379 BLACK 2, BASS LAKE TERRACE SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, M. Jean Kamen and Lee R. Kanten have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage and utility easement and drainage easement for ponding purposes: That part of Lot 37, Block 2, Bass Lake Terrace Second Addition, Heaupin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the most southerly corner of said Lot 37; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said Lot 37 a distance of 15.00 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be described; thence continuing along said southwesterly line a distance of 33.54 feet to the northwesterly line of the drainage and utility easement created over said Lot 37 by the plat of said Bass Lake Terrace Second Addition; thence northeasterly along said northwesterly line to a point on the northeasterly lits: of said Lot 37 which lies 50.15 feet northwesterly from the most easterly corner of said Lot 37; thence southwesterly to the point of beginning; except that portion of said parcel which lies within the southwesterly and northeasterly 6 feet of said Lot 37. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of June 18, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
