HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-293• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 97- 293 APPROVING VARIANCE REQUEST FOR REED DENNY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3805 PILGRIM LANE NORTH (97056) - WHEREAS, Reed Denny has requested approval of a variance to allow a second driveway access onto 3e Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: Lot 20, Block 2, Plymouth Plaza 3'd Addition WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTA, that by Reed Denny variance based on tthe finding r nding that the variance standards have been met and t should and hereby does approve the request ubjects too the followoing findings: I. Construction of a detached garage without driveway access onto 391 Avenue North would create a hardship to the owner due to the existing grade elevations of the property. 2 A hardship has been caused to the owner in that the have changed from the previous information provided to himrZoning Ordinance by staff members. 3. Construction of the garage and installation of a new driveway will eliminate the existing parking problems. 4. This property is somewhat unique in that it is a corner lot, and that 3P Avenue North is a local street and not a collector or arterial roadway. Adopted by City Council on May 28, 1997.
