RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 279
ORDERING E"ROVEMFNT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
CE"RRON EAST STREET RECONS T RUCTION
CITY PROJECT NO. 7002
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-1% of the City Council adopted the 2nd day of April,
1997, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to certain streets
in Cimarron East Addition including: 2d6 Avenue, I P Avenue from 196 Avenue to 196
Avenuc, Juneau Lane south of 196 Avenue, Juneau Lane north of 196 Avenue, Lanewood
Lane north of 196 Avenue. Kingsview Lane north of 196 Avenue, Ithaca Lane south of
196 Avenue, Ithaca Lane north of 19th Avenue, Glacier Lane south of 196 Avenue, and
Harbor Lase north of 196 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the: proposed project includes the reconsreuction of streets by the installation
of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-196 of the City Council adopted the 2nd dry of April,
1997, also accepted the preliminary engineering report which concluded that the proposed
project is feasible, necessary and cost effective; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 7th day of May, 1997,
at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opporttwity to be heard
thereon; and
WHEREAS, ordering this improvement requires a majority vote of the Council (four
votes) since the project has been petitioned for by the benefiting owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted April 2, 1997.

2. The Plymouth Eughwa g Department is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans sad specifications for the
mating of such improvement.
