VAMM AS, in conformance with the dwelopment contract, the City has received a Waiver of
Amt Hearing from the property owner of Plum Tree 30' Addition waiving their right to
special assessment hearings covering the innaWtion of sanitary sewa and water trunk

1. Such proposed ash, a copy of which is attached bio and made a part hereof, is
hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein
and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed
improvement in the amount of the assessment levied aping it.
2. Stitch asfesament shall be payable in equal annual innallmen s extending ova a period of 5
years, the first of the installmcM to be payable on or before ft fust Monday in January,
19489 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.00% per amnan from the date of adoption of
this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire
assessment from the data of this resolution until December 31, 1998. To each subsequent
installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid Installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the
assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on sucb
property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Finance Director, except
that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the
anoption of this resolution and be may at any time thereaft pay the City Finance Director
the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31
of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made befom November
30 or interest will be charged through December 31, of the next succeeding year.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County
Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments
shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
3. the total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is $44,550.60.
Adopted by the City Council on May 7, 1997.
