RESOLUTION NO, 9'1 - 231
RECEIVING PRELIlIIENARY ENGWEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
VICKSBURG LANE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7010
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted March 19, 1997 a report
has been prepared with respect to Vicksburg Lane from Highway 55 to Olsson Lake
Road; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on April 16, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and the assessment of property abutting
and adjacent to Vicksburg Lsne between Highway 55 and Gleason
Lake Road for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1933,
Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $755,530.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
21" day of May, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council on April 16, 1997.
