RESOLUTION 97 - 223
APPROVING A FIRE CODE VARIANCE FOR IiR!V, INC. FOR NORTHWEST BUSUMS
CAMPUS ISm ADDITON FOR PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF NORTHWEST BLVD.
BETWEEN HIGHWAY 55 AND CAMPUS DRIVE (%155)
WHEREAS, BRW, INC. has requested a Fire Code Variance for property located asst of
Northwest Blvd. between Highway 55 and Campus Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Inspector recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Fire Code VarianrA
to eliminate the fire lane on the north side of the proposed gas convenience store and the north
and east sides of the proposed two story office building subject to the following conditions:
1. Both buildings shall be protected by an automatic fire sprinkler system.
2. Sidewalk access will be provided from drive aisles to exterior door locations on all sides of
both buildings.
3. Approved Fire Department standpipes will be required at each floor level at stairway
locations in the two-story office e building.
4. An additional fire hydrant will be required at an approved location at the gas convenience
store.
