HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-216• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 97-216 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR ANMDING SECTION 21005 AND 21450 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE (DEFINITIONS AND OFFICE9MIDENTIAL TRANSITION ZONING DISTRICT) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth finds that extended stay hotels ars consistent with the purpose and intent of the O -R (Office/Residential Transition) zoning disWet and are compatible with other permitted and conditional uses of the district. NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA, that revisions to Srrfion 21005 and 21450 of the City Code are necessary to: 1. Establish standards which permit a reasonabto opportunity for the establishment of extended stay hotels in the QR zoning district; 2. Ensure that extended stay hotels are operated and located in areas that do not adversely impact the public health or safety; 3. Adopt standards and regulations that promote the public health, safety. and general welfare. Adopted by the City Council on this 16th day of April. 1997. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEP" SS.
