HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-146• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 146 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PERPETUAL EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES PIN 07-118-22.41-0002 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Paul Johnson on behalf of JANCO, Inc./Centex Homes, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following utility easement: A perpetual easement for utility purposes over, under, across and through that part of the above described property which lies within the following described area: Commencing at the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 7, Township 118 North, Range 22 West; thence south 00 degrees 16 minutes 24 seconds west, assumed beadng, along the west line of said northeast quarter of the southeast quarter a distance of 387.53 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing south 00 degrees 16 minutes 24 seconds west 20.00 feet; thence north 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east 110.05 That thence north 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east 20.00 fat; thence south 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds west 109.95 feet to the point of begimting. Except that part which lies within the above described permanent street and utility easement as recorded in Document No. 6545236. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of April 2, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as proviAed by law.
