RESOLUTION No. 2013-375
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE PUBLIC ART POLICY
WHEREAS, in 2009, the Public Art Policy was established to ensure the integrity of the
City's existing art collection and to formalize procedures for future acquisitions; and
WHEREAS, the policy acts as an advocate to integrate art into the community and to
raise public awareness and appreciation for the arts; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission reviewed and approved the attached
document at their October 10, 2013 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the changes to the Public Arts Policy are
hereby approved.
