CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97-120
RESOLUTION GIVING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR SASSY'S CAFE, 1115 VICKSBURG LANE NORTH
WHEREAS, Ms. Sandra Vrooman has been making plans to open a cafe in the Vicksburg
Placa shopping center since early in 1996, and has made numerous contacts with the
Inspections Division in preparation for construction work needed for the business; and
WHEREAS, it was only maently discovered that a restaurant in this location requires a
conditional use permit, which is a recent requirement of the new Plymouth Zoning
Ordinance was adopted on December 18,1996; and
WHEREAS, it has been found that Ms. Vrooman will suffer financiai hardship if
construction cannot proceed immediately; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary review of the proposed use indicates that the conditions for
issuance of a CUP will be met; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on March 11, 1997 and
recommend any conditions to be included in the CUP upon final Council approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the request of Sandra Vrooman for preliminary
approval of a Conditional Use Permit for Sassy's Cafe, 11 15 Vicksburg Lane North is
hereby granted.
