CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 97-100
RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC IIEARING ON PROPOSED ASSECSMENT
19% REMOVAL AND DESTRUCTION OF DISEASED TREES, ROLL 1
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on February S, 1997 the City Clerk was
directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the total cost for the 1996 Removal and
Destruction of Diseased Tris, Roll 1 on certain lands within the City as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Clc:rk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has beea
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESP VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the 5th day of March, 1997 in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and
at such time and place ail persons owning property aff5ected by such charges will
be given an opportunity to be heard with re*mk a to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at lean two
weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of the
assessment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner
of each parcel descn'bed in the assessment roll.
