RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 82
RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
RIDGEMOUNT AVENUE FROM
COUNTY ROAD 73 TO PLYMOUTH ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 7004
WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by the engineer for the City of Minnetonka
with respect to improvements to Ridgemount Avenue from County Road 73 to
Plymouth Road; and
WHERE -AS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Ridgemount
Avenue by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm
sewer, an 8 foot bituminous trail, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on February S, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
i. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and
adjacent property along Ridgemount Avenue for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statute& 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated
total cost of the improvement of $735,820.
2. A public bearing shalt be held on such proposed improvement on the
Sth day of Mauch, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
lmprovements as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council on February S, 1997.
