CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. -63
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A TRAIL EASEMENT IN
WORD OF LIFE ADDITION

WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a trail easement in Word of Life Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; ur1
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 22, 1997
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHERE.4. S, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prier
to the meeting of January 22, 1997; arra
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Counci! did hold a public hearing on January 22, 1997 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a trail easement in Word of Life Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following trail easement be vacated:
The East 15.00 feet of Lot I. Block 1, Word of Life Addition
Adopted by the City Council on January 22, 1997.
