RESOLUTION NO. 97 -6z
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A TRAIL EASEMENT IN
PARK WOODS TOWNHOMES ADDITION
DOCUMENT NO. 26897S4
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a trail easement in Park Woods Townhomes Addition;
and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area proposed
to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with reapect to said vacation was scheduled for January 22, 1997 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.05; and
WHEREAS, a nonce of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of January 72, 1997; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 22, 1997 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the vacation of a trail easement in Park Woods Townhomes Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
The center line of said easement described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Outlot A; thence South 89 degrees, 59
minutes, 58 second3 West, assumed bearing, along the North line of said Outlot A. a
distance of 281.59 feet to the point of beginning of the center line to be heroin described;
thence South 2 degrees, 19 minutes, 12 seconds West a distance of 153.89 feet; thence
South 29 degrees, 11 minutes, 59 seconds West a distance of 75.69 feet; thence South 10
degrees, 53 minutes, 05 seconds East a distance of 39.22 feet; thence South 26 degrees,
41 minutes 19 seconds West a distance of 35.68 feet to the South line of said Oudot A
and said center line there terminating.
The sidelines of said easement are prolonged or shortened to terminate on the North and
South tyres of said Outlot A.
