CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION No. 97-61
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
PART OF EAST STREET RIGHT -0F- AY IN
PARKERS LAKE GARDENS NOW CONTAINED P
MINNEAPOLIS INDUSTRIAL PARK 5m ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a part of East Street Right -of -Way in Parkers
Lake Gardens now contained in Minneapolis Industrial Park 5" Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 22, 1917
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior
to the meeting of January 22, 1997; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 22, 1997 to inform any and all
Interested parties relevant to the vacation of a part of East Street Right -of -Way in Parkers Lake
Gardens now contained in Minneapolis industrial Park 5" Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following part of East Street
Right -of -Way be vacated:
That part of East Street as platted in Parkers Lake Gardens which is contained
within Lot 1, Block 1, Minneapolis Industrial Park 51 Addition.
Adopted by the City Council on January 22, 1997.
