HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1997-053CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO, 97 - 53 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO.6 AND FINAL 26TH AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 601 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Valley Paving, Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement for 266 Avenue Improvements, City Project No. 601, said agreement being dated March 8, 1995; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. 1. That the original contract amount was 5219,380.00. Throe change orders were approved in the amount of $27,523.20 and the value of the work to date is $246,851.56 and is herewith approved. This project underian the contract amount by $51.64 or 0.00196. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for 2e Avenue Improvements and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of $7,719.74 to valley Paving, Inc. for 2& Avenue Improvements is hereby approved aid the City Finance Director h hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
