RESOLUTION, 97.27
APPRONTNG CONTRACT WITH MIDWEST COCA-COLA BOTTLING
WHEREAS, the City solicited and received bids from Midwest Coca-Cola and Twin City
Peusi Cola Corporations, and
WHEREAS, both companies had the opportunity to make their best offer for a 10 year
agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed both proposals and find4 the Coca-Cola option no. 2 to be
in the best interest of the City of Plymouth at this time,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign an agreement with Midwest Coca-Cola
bottling Company to provide soft drink vending services to the Plymouth Ice Center for a
period of 10 years, and further that the $75,000 will be allocated to the Ice Rink project to
offset the cost of the score boards and sound system.
