CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 96- 696
Rescinding Award of Bid
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1996, the City Council awarded a contract in the amount of
$52,192 to St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet for supplying product to the new ice arena project
and
WHEREAS, St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet has now indicated they are unable to provide said
product at the bid price, and
WHEREAS, St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet has forfeited their 5% bid bond in accordance with
the written specifications on this project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
bid to St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet is hereby rescinded and that the $2,609.60 forfeited bid
bond be deposited into the ice arena construction fund.
Adopted by the City Council on December 18, 1996,
