CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. % - 675
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF PART
OF LARCH LANE RIGHT-OF-WAY IN
ELMHURST, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of Larch Lane Right -of -Way in Elmhurst,
Hennepin County, MN; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of ti..: land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 4,
1996 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior
to the meeting of December 4, 1996; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 4, 1996 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a part of Larch Lane Right -of -Way in Elmhurst,
Hennepin County, MN; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said Right -of -Way is not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ',rrE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following part of Larch Lane Right-of-Wny
in Elmhurst, Hennepin County, MN be vacated;
That part of Larch Lane, lying adjacent to Lots 1 & 2, Block t:, as platted
Summit Avenue all in Elmhurst, Hennepin County, MN, lying Northeasterly of
a line running from the Southwest corner of said Lot 2, to a point in the
Westerly line of said Lot 1, said point 96.3 feet Northwesterly from the
Southwest corner of said Lot 1, and there terminating.
Adopted by the City Council on December 4, 1996,
