RESOLUTION 96 - 642
APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR ELIM CARE, INC. FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF COUNTY ROAD 101 AND
MEDINA ROAD (96137)
WHEREAS, Elim Care, Inc. has requested reclassification of the land use guiding from IP
(Planned Industrial) to LA -3 (Living Area 3) for a 74.3 -acre property located at the northeast
comer of County Road 101 and Medina Road and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Elim
Care, Inc. for reclassification of the land use guiding from IP (Planned Industrial) to LA -3
(Living Area 3) for a 74.3 -acre property located at the northeast corner of County Road 101 and
Medina Road.
FURTHER, approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject
to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council; and
FURTHER, approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon the following:
a) Approval of the Plan Amendment shall not preclude the imposition of changes in the
project or mitigation measures that may be identified during the environmental review
process.
b) Approval is conditioned upon completion of the environmental review pfocess.
c) Approval will not preclude an ultimate decision by the City or any other
governmental unit to deny approval of the project because of environmental reasons
consistent with state law.
