HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1996-637• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 637 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING THE COURTS AT NANTERRE ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the developer requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Courts at Nanterre Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERESY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of The Courts at Nanterre Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, riled with the City Council on November 20, 1996 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
