HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1996-623r. u CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. % - 623 AMENDING POLICY RELATING TO SELECTION OF CONSULTANTS WHEREAS, the City Council established as a goal for 1996 the review of consultants selected for various types of work for the City; and WHEREAS, one of the consultants used is engineering consultants for public improvement projects and staff has completed a process for reviewing engineering consultants; and WHEREAS, the Council has a policy relating to selection of consultants with the latest revision being adopted by Resolution No. 85-731; and WHEREAS, based upon the staff review of engineering consultants, a recommendation is made to revise the matrix of regular consulting firms for engineering projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the matrix of regular consultant firms for engineering work for public improvement projects (i.e., streets, bridges, storm sewer/drainage, sanitary sewer, water storage, water treatment, well/pumps, traffic analysis, and environmental assessments) be revised and the firms of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc., MSA Consulting Engineers, Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc., and SRF Consulting Group, Inc. be designated in the matrix for this type of services. FURTHER, that the services for engineering consultants be reviewed and considered by the City Council on or before December 31, 2000.
