APPROVING GUIDANCE FOR CONCLUDING DELIBERATIONS ON PROPOSED
1997 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed 1997 budget for the City of
Plymouth at three special study sessions; and
WHEREAS, City Council subcommittees also have met and reviewed proposals for
computer equipment and the capital and water resources levies and have made their
recommendations to the full city council at a special study session;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that until the December 4, 1996 Truth in Taxation Hearing on the
Proposed 1997 Budget, any suggested changes to the 1997 budget shall be submitted as a
written resolution to the full city council for consideration; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any written resolution to change the 1997 budget
shall state the nature of the proposed change, the funding source of the change, and the overall
impact on the 1997 budget.
