RESOLUTION NO. 96-586
DIRECTING THE STAFF AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO DELETE
CERTAIN LANGUAGE RESTRICTING THE PARKING AND STORAGE OF
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES FROM THE DRAFT ZONING ORDINANCE.
Whereas, the draft of new zoning regulations contains new provisions that would
unreasonably restrict the parking and storage of recreational vehicles; and,
Whereas, there has been overwhelming public comment against these proposed
regulations at two public information meetings held to date; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth
that.
1. That the staff and Planning Commission be directed to remove language
restricting the parking and storage of recreational vehicles from pages 104
and 130 of the draft zoning regulations as shown on the attached pages.
2. That tiuther discussion on this issue be deferred to the first City Council
meeting in 1997.
